We traveled the Western Caribbean on Carnival's Newest Ship!
The dates were October 27 - November 2, 2019.
We sailed from Miami, Florida to Montego Bay, Jamaica to Grand Cayman and then to Cozumel Mexico before returning to Miami.

San Francisco & Las Vegas Anyone?
Las Vegas (below) is the city that never sleeps. It's one of the most exciting cities in the world! If you've never been, you've gotta go! The Plan
I'd like to shoot for going during the September/October of 2022. I need time to schedule a hotel for SF which books almost a year in advance. I am thinking a week long tour with three nights in Las Vegas and three nights in San Francisco. Call me at 734-644-4873 or complete the info below if interested. |
Earlier, I was promoting a group trip to San Francisco. I didn't get a lot of takers so I thought I would suggest another idea.
I would like to plan a group trip to: San Francisco AND Las Vegas. San Francisco is one of our country's greatest cities. The Golden Gate Bridge, Pacific Ocean, great food, Fisherman's Wharf, cable cars and more. Watch the six minute video below for more. |

Featured Article: How to Save on Airline Tickets
There are several "mysteries" about which the average person has little clues. The first is why gas prices fluctuate. The second is how to get a website ranked on Google. And the third is trying to figure out how to save on airline tickets. On any given flight the person you are sitting next to probably paid a different price than you. How can you increase the odds that of the two of you, your price would be the cheaper one. This article will share some ways of saving money on your future flights.
1. Time Your Searches.
Airlines update their flights at 10am, 1pm, 4pm, and 8pm. Check back regularly after those times if you are not satisfied with the price you are currently seeing.
2. Fly on the Weekdays.
If you are flying within the United States, leave on a Friday. Prices are typically 15 percent lower than the most expensive travel day, Sunday. Tuesday or Wednesday departures are good. Mondays are good for the return trip.
3. Book Ahead Strategically.
The ideal time for booking ahead depends on the destination. You would think, the earlier you book the more you will save. But this is not always true. If you are traveling within the US, book four to six weeks out. If you are going to Europe, book six months ahead; Asia, five weeks; Africa, two months ahead.
4. Use Frequent Flyer Accounts.
Sign up for all of the airlines' accounts and be sure to register your account number each time you book a flight.
5. Get Paid by the Airlines.
A number of times, I have been on a connecting flight that has been overbooked. The airline asks for volunteers who will take a later flight in exchange for a credit for a future flight. If you are in that situation and you are at the gate waiting for a crowded flight, position yourself near the ticket counter so that you can be the first to respond when an offer is announced.
6. Use Kayak.com's Price Predictor
Kayak.com has a price predictor for most flights. The predictor shows a chart of past prices and predicts whether prices are expected to increase or decrease within the next seven days.
7. Use FareDetective.com
FareDetective.com gives you a chart indicating the prices of flights of flights for the past 12 months. You can use this information to determine what a reasonable fare would be.
Hope these ideas help!
